Who is Curtis Campher

Who is Curtis Campher: Performing well for bowlers in T20 cricket is always a big challenge, as they get only four overs to prove themselves. Ireland all -rounder Curtis Camper created history of this limited opportunity. He took five wickets from five consecutive balls and did a feat that had never been seen in T20 cricket before.

Camphor did charisma in two overs

Ireland’s Curtis Camphur performed his bowling in a strong performance in the Inter-Privisial T20 Trophy. Throwing the 12th over against the North West Warriors, he dismissed Jerd Wilson off the fifth ball. On the last ball, Graham Hume was sent to the pavilion. He then completed the hat -trick by dismissing Andy McBrin on the first ball of the 14th over. This wonderful bowling of Camphor proved to be a game changer for the team.

Created world record

Curtis did not stop after completing the hat -trick. He took the wickets of Robbie Miller and Josh Wilson in the next two balls. In this way, Camphor created history by taking five wickets in five consecutive balls. He has become the first bowler in the world to do such a feat in T20 cricket. Usually when a bowler takes four wickets in four balls, he is called a double hat -trick, but Camphor has gone a step ahead of this traditional definition. T20 has set a new example in history.

Camp rained with bat also

Curtis Campher also performed brilliantly in batting before doing wonders in bowling. He played a stormy innings of 44 runs in just 24 balls while playing for Munter Reds. Apart from him, Peter Moore scored 35 runs, Stephen Dodeni and Spnil scored 27-27 runs to bring the team’s score to 188 runs. In response, the entire team of North West Warriors collapsed for only 88 runs. Curtis Campher was adjudged Player of the Match to make a great contribution with both bat and ball.
