This project has been launched in Bilaspur Sadar Tehsil, Dalhousie Tehsil of District Chamba, Galod Tehsil of District Hamirpur, Jai Singhpur Tehsil of District Kangra, Bhuntar of District Kullu, Padhar Tehsil of District Mandi, Kumarasen of District Shimla, Rajgarh of District Sirmaur, Kandaghat Tehsil of District Solan and Bangana tehsil of district Una. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also launched the Jamabandi, e-bynamcha sentence and action initiatives, so that the works of the revenue department can be improved further and registration and other procedures for the people can be simple and easy.He said that the format of new Jamabandi has been prepared in simple Hindi. In this, old languages like Urdu, Arabic and Persian have been removed so that common people can easily understand the land records. The e-by-life s zool will facilitate the patwaris to keep digital records of daily activities, while with the Karguzari system they will be able to put their daily attendance online. He said that with this facility, now Tehsildars will also be able to monitor their works more effectively. Soon the online mutation register will also be linked to this initiative.
The Chief Minister said that technology should be used to improve services, bring transparency and make revenue services more effective. He said that we have to move towards such a system which is paperless, presenceless and cashless so that people can ensure government services sitting at home.
Chief Minister Sukhvindra Singh Sukhu said that the present state government is committed to transparent and accountable governance and several reforms have been made to promote digitization in government work. He directed the National Informatics Center (NIC) and the Department of Digital Technology and Government to work fast on various digital modules to make revenue services more effective and public friendly.
The Chief Minister also instructed to prepare a digital signature with digital signature Jamabandi module within 10 days so that people do not have to go round the Patwarkhans to get 'Fard' (copy of the land record). The Chief Minister directed to prepare an online, paperless revenue court management system within 15 days, so that people can file online petitions and can receive summons and updates through digital medium. This will speed up the process and ensure transparency. He instructed the NIC to develop online mutation modules within 15 days and connect it directly to the Jamabandi record, which will speed up the process of mutation registration.The Chief Minister instructed all the Deputy Commissioners to actively implement all these initiatives at the ground level so that people can take full advantage of these digital services. He also instructed to adopt 'Khangi Takasim' in mission mode, especially in cases where land is in joint name of more than one. This will promote the concept of 'single account, single owner' and the land records will become more simple and clear.
The Chief Minister said that these digital reforms will reduce people's need to go to government offices again and again. These efforts will solve public problems quickly and people will get relief. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Deputy Chief Whip Keval Singh Pathania, MLA Vinod Sultanpuri and Malandra Rajan, Chief Advisor (Media) Naresh Chauhan, Additional Chief Secretary KK Pant, Director Raghav Sharma, Director Digital Technology and Government Department Dr. Nipun Jindal and other senior officials of Revenue Department were present on the occasion.
