You will be surprised to know that this dessert is not sold in all states, but there are some selected state where it is eaten a lot in the month of Sawan. Round -shaped lattice texture, rabri or saffron layer on it, makes it wonderful in taste. It is not a dessert but a tradition in a way.
Actually, the name of this dessert is Ghevar, which is the most famous dessert of Rajasthan, which people eat with great fervor in the month of Sawan. However, today it has also become famous sweets of many other states, including the names of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, where huge amounts of ghevar are made in shops and are sold indiscriminately.
There are many types of ghevar, including sweet, mawa, plain, chocolate, saffron, poet and strawberry. Without this, Sawan and Rakshabandhan are considered incomplete. Apart from being wonderful in taste, it is also a treasure of health. Eating it in the rain also gives many benefits. People from many other places in these states come to eat ghevar. Here the daughter -in -law of the daughter’s in -laws is considered incomplete even without Ghevar.
Ghevar is fried in ghee, due to which it is very beneficial for the body. Actually, the dryness of the body is removed by eating it. It also works to boost immunity. This reduces fatigue and laziness.
