In a conversation with ETimes, Pallavi revealed that the separation stems from 'compatibility issues' they have been facing for the past few years. She described it as a 'tough decision,' especially since they have two children, a 21-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son.

"Sometimes, it’s better to part ways amicably and choose to live a peaceful life. I respect Suraj and will always wish well for him," added the actress.

Pallavi and Suraj separated two weeks ago and have been living apart since. The couple tied the knot in 2003.

A few days ago, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Lataa Saberwal announced separation from her husband, actor Sanjeev Seth after 16 years of marriage.

Taking to her Instagram story, on June 21, the actress wrote, "After a prolonged silence... I declare that I (Lataa Saberwal) have been separated from my husband (Mr. Sanjeev Seth). I give gratitude to him for giving me a lovely son. I wish him all the best for his future life." Further, she added, "I request everyone to please respect my and my family's peace and not to ask any questions or call regarding this. Gratitude." She even tagged Sanjeev in the story.
