Samsung is gearing up to expand its F-series lineup in India with the upcoming Galaxy F36 5G, just weeks after the successful launch of the Galaxy M36 5G. The new smartphone has been officially teased on Flipkart, indicating that its launch in India is imminent. A recent appearance on the Google Play Console has also revealed key design elements and specifications of the device.
A promotional banner on Flipkart’s website confirms that the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G will be launched soon in India. The handset will be available for purchase exclusively via the e-commerce platform. However, Samsung has yet to announce the official pricing and launch date for the smartphone.
The Flipkart teaser hints that the Galaxy F36 5G will feature AI-powered enhancements, as suggested by the tagline “Flex HI-FAI”, with “AI” highlighted separately—possibly pointing to smart features in camera or performance optimization.
The promotional image also reveals a SIM tray positioned on the left, and a sleek, vertically-aligned rear camera island, indicating a modern, minimalist design.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Galaxy F36 5G is expected to come with a waterdrop-style notch on the front for the selfie camera. Internally, the phone could be powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with at least 6GB of RAM. The display is likely to offer a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a pixel density of 450ppi.
The smartphone is expected to run Android 15 out-of-the-box, with Samsung’s One UI 7 layered on top.
Samsung’s Galaxy M36 5G, launched in India on June 27, is powered by the same Exynos 1380 SoC, and features up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection—features that could likely carry over to the Galaxy F36 5G as well.
As anticipation builds, the Galaxy F36 5G is expected to strengthen Samsung’s mid-range portfolio in India, offering premium performance, AI features, and 5G connectivity at a competitive price.
