Tesla India Price: Famous for its electric cars around the world, Tesla has finally launched its most awaited Model Y in India. This train has been introduced in two variants rear-wheel drive and long range rear-wheel drive. However, the company has not launched the long range all-wheel drive version in India at the moment.
The initial price of Model Y will start with Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while its top variant is up to ₹ 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the car by visiting Tesla’s official website. But it is not enough to know only ex-showroom price, let’s know what the real expenses will sit on this electric SUV.
The rear-wheel drive version of Model Y is available at a price of ₹ 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Its on-road price is ₹ 60,99,690, which includes GST of ₹ 2,92,818. If you add color upgrades, interior options and autonomous features to it, then this price rises to ₹ 63,82,490.
According to the company, delivery of this version will start from Q3 2025. It is available in six colors, which has only Stealth Grey Standard Color. Additional payment for the remaining five colors-
Pearl White Multi-Coat and Diamond Black-₹ 95,000
Glacier Blue – ₹ 1.25 Lakh
Quicksilver and Ultra Red – ₹ 1.85 Lakh
The car has a standard 19-inch alloy wheels and two interior options. The all-black interior is standard, while for black and white interior, ₹ 95,000 will have to be paid. Apart from this, full self-driving capability package will be available at an additional expenditure of ₹ 6 lakh.
The top version of MODEL Y is available in the long range rear-wheel drive ₹ 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Its on-road price is ₹ 71,90,490, which includes a GST of ₹ 3,44,246. The delivery of this version will start from Q4 2025.
The same six colors are also found in this variant, and only Stealth Grey is the standard color. Additional expenses will be applicable on all other colors. Similarly, the all-black interior is standard and the black and white interior can be added to ₹ 95,000. Full self-driving option will also be available in this variant ₹ 6 lakh extra.
According to Tesla, the base version of Model Y i.e. rear-wheel drive gives a range of 500 km (WLTP). It can catch a speed of 0 to 100 km per hour in just 5.9 seconds, while its top speed is 201 km per hour.
At the same time, the range of the long range variant is 622 km and it catches the speed of 0 to 100 km per hour in 5.6 seconds. Its top speed is also 201 km per hour.
