Hdfc bank: Shares of HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private bank, are in the news today. The bank is going to reward its shareholders in a very special way. According to reports, the bank’s board has announced to consider the proposal to issue bonus shares for the first time in the meeting to be held on 19 July 2025 and to give Special Interim Dividend. If the proposal is approved, it will be the first chance to give bonuses to investors in the history of the bank.
What is the agenda of the meeting?
This meeting was already scheduled to approve the proposal to the first quarter (April -June 2025) standalone and consolidated financial results of the current financial year 2025-26, but now it will also be discussed on the proposal to bonus share and dividend. However, the bank has not yet given any information about the ratio or price of dividend of bonus share. This decision will be subject to SEBI rules and approval of shareholders.
