JoSAA Round 6 Seat Allotment Result: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the seat allotment result for the final round of JoSAA counseling for admission to engineering programs in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other participating institutes. Candidates who applied for this round can check the seat allotment result by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in.
The fee can be paid till July 20
The counseling authority has clarified on the website that Round 6 is for both the IIT and NIT+ systems. As per the counseling schedule, candidates can report online by paying fees, uploading documents, and answering questions by July 20, 2025, at 5 pm.
In the case of NITs, students who want to withdraw their seats can opt out of JoSAA counseling between July 16 and 21. The last date to answer questions related to withdrawal is July 22. Partial admission fee (PAF) can be paid online between July 23 and 27. Payment-related issues will be resolved on July 28.
Preliminary and final ranks to be released soon
The counselling authority will soon release the preliminary and final ranks of JoSAA for the final round. After this, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct CSAB 2025 counselling for a special round to fill the vacant seats left after the JoSAA counselling is over. The vacancies for BTech seats will be displayed on July 30, and registration will start from the same day.

On the homepage, click on the link for the Round 6 seat allotment result.
Enter the application number and password.
The seat allotment result will be displayed.
Complete the reporting, pay the fee and upload the documents.
