Shares of Raymond Ltd.(up 3.18 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent), Lodha Developers Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 0.05 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Anant Raj Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.22 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.12 per cent down at 999.9.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 143.05 points at 24968.4, while the BSE Sensex stood down 501.51 points at 81757.73.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 ended in the green, while 35 closed in the red.
