Fake parivahan app: The Kochi Cybercrime Police of Kerala has arrested a thug gang from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, busting a large online fraud. This gang is fake to people across the country Parivahan Was cheating through the mobile app. The police confirmed the scam on Sunday.

But this app was fake, which used to steal personal and banking information from the user’s mobile as soon as it was installed.
The police investigation revealed a shocking reveal that there was a 16 -year -old boy technical to the scam. He developed this app at the behest of a gang member. The gang used to collect vehicles information with the help of Telegram bots and then fraud messages were sent to the respective numbers.
The case came to light when a citizen of Ernakulam district lodged a complaint on the National Cyber Reporting Platform (NCRP). The victim reported that he had a loss of ₹ 85,000.
In the investigation, more than 2700 vehicle owners’ information was recovered from the mobiles of the accused, who belonged to states like Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. The gang was arrested on the basis of concrete digital evidence.
