Sawan Special, Sabudana Milkshake Recipe: The holy month of Sawan is going on and today is the second Monday of Sawan. In this month, people keep a fast and worship Lord Shiva with full devotion. If you are feeling weak during the fast, then you can prepare quick sago milkshake for energy. Today we are telling you its easy recipe.

Sawan Special, Sabudana Milkshake Recipe

Material (Sawan Special, Sabudana Milkshake Recipe)

  • Sago (real) – 4 cups
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 2 to 3 tablespoons
  • cardamom powder – 4 tsp
  • Almond -5-6 (alternative, for decoration)
  • Saffron – Some threads
  • Water – to boil

Method (Sawan Special, Sabudana Milkshake Recipe)

  1. Wash the sago 2-3 times and soak it in water for 3-4 hours. Keep in mind that the water is not too much, that is all that the sago gets completely wet but does not look wet with more water.
  2. Now boil water in a pan and add soaked sago in it. Cook on low flame until the sago becomes transparent and soft (about 8-10 minutes). Then let it cool down and filter excess water.
  3. Add cold milk, cooked sago, sugar, cardamom powder and saffron to a mixer. Blend all the things well until the mixture becomes smooth.
  4. Remove the prepared milkshake in glass. Add chopped almonds or cashews from above. If you want, you can also put some sago whole on top.

Instead of sugar, you can also add honey or palm paste according to the fast. If you want, you can drink this drink without blending – just add sago to boiled milk and mix sweet.
