You can take full advantage of this scheme by following some easy steps.

What is Ayushman Card?

The Ayushman card is part of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme (PM-JAY) launched by the Government of India in 2018. It is a health card, with the help of which eligible families get free treatment of up to ₹ 5 lakh every year in any government or listed private hospital in the country. This is especially for the economically weaker sections.

How to make Ayushman card from mobile app

  • First of all download Ayushman App in your phone.
  • Open the app and select your favorite language.
  • After login, click on the “Beneficiary” option.
  • Add mobile number and captcha.
  • “Search for Beneficiary” page will open, where choose PM-JAY Scheme.
  • Enter the state, district and Aadhaar numbers.
  • The members whose cards would not have been made will be written in front of their name.
  • Tap on it and enter the Aadhaar number, verify from OTP and click the photo.
  • Fill the member’s mobile number and relationship in the family.
  • Complete E-Kyc and submit the form.
  • After verification in a week, you can download the card from the app.

How to get free treatment?

When Ayushman’s card is made, then only go to the concerned hospital by showing the card for treatment. Ayushman Mitra present in the hospital will verify your identity and card, after which free treatment facilities are available without any fee or documents.
