To be successful in life and to face challenges, it is necessary to first believe in yourself, after which you should trust God. This is the basis on which the entire creation rests. History and present many examples are found, where people achieve heights only with their abilities and power without any physical resource. This belief in the fields of business, science, and spirituality inspires a person to move forward.
Three types of powers are active in human life – physical, mental and spiritual. These powers are effective only when there is deep and unwavering belief within the person, not only on God, but also on themselves. When this belief is awakened, the person starts moving towards his goals with determination.
The role of faith is not limited to spirituality only, but also the basis of scientific discoveries. There is a strong belief behind every discovery and invention that it is possible. Therefore, faith is considered similar to the seeds of power, which can flourish in the right environment.
When there is faith in a person, the three important elements of his life become active – resolution, courage and victory. Faith only gives him the courage to face difficult situations and eventually win. This is the reason that great personalities considered faith in their lives as the basic mantra of their success.
The importance of faith is also clear in the story of Mahabharata. At the time of the war, both Kauravas and the Pandavas were God, but Duryodhana did not accept the power of Shri Krishna, while Arjuna saw him in his infinite forms and received his blessings. With the help of Shri Krishna, the Pandavas won, whose root was only faith. Faith in God is the foundation of faith in himself. Those who do not trust themselves, they are unable to trust God either. In Ramcharitmanas, Shri Ram says to his devotees –
“Karu sada tinki rakhwari, Jimi boy Rakhi Mahtari.” (One who believes in me, I protect him in the same way as a mother does her child.) The person who believes in God, whether he sees God in any form – in a idol, picture or any other form – with the help of the same belief, he develops spiritual and moral. Stone sculptures also have reverence and faith, from which a person experiences God through those various forms. Therefore, to achieve success and prosperity in life, it is most important to have faith in yourself, your abilities and God. When this belief is adamant, only then a person can get out of every difficulty and can bring his life to new heights.
