In the last five-six years, banks have started charging every small and big service. Now, the IMPS Service, immediately sending and sending money, is also being charged. Also, many old fees have also been increased. On the other hand, the facilities provided to customers are also decreasing.

Nothing free now
Today the condition is that the passbook update in the bank is to be done, to get your signature verified, or to take any other small service, customers have to pay the fee for everything. In this episode, in last May, banks also increased the fee for withdrawing more than five money from ATMs. Now every additional withdrawal is charged with a charge of 23 rupees. Apart from this, new fees have also been implemented on some special credit card transactions from 1st July.

Cash transactions also became expensive
Banks have also made major changes in the rules of cash transactions. Now in many banks, customers can deposit or withdraw cash from a branch or cash machine (CRM) without fee only three times a month. Earlier this limit used to be five times. If a customer withdraws cash from his account more times than this limit, then he will have to pay a heavy fee of Rs 150 every time. Also, if any one deposits more than one lakh rupees in cash in a month, then it will also be charged a fee of Rs 150.

Facilities are getting less
The facilities provided to customers are also being cut. State Bank of India (SBI) has reduced the benefits on its credit cards. From July 15, free air accident insurance of Rs 50 lakh on SBI’s ‘Prime’ and ‘Pulse’ credit cards has also been stopped.

Fee storm is also coming on IMPS
SBI has also decided to impose a fee on the IMPS service that transferred money immediately from August 15. It is expected that other banks will also announce a fee on IMPS soon. Although many private banks are already charging fees on online IMPS, they can also increase their fees after this move of SBI.

It is clear that banks have now connected every small facility to customers with money, due to which the banking experience of the common man is becoming increasingly expensive.
