RRB Railway Technician recruitment 2025: There is a great opportunity for 10th pass-ITI people to get a government job in the railways. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited applications for more than 6000 vacancies for Technician posts. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the online application form by visiting the official website of RRB rrbapply.gov.in.

The last date for online application for RRB Railway Technician Recruitment 2025 is 28 July 2025, while the application fee can be deposited till 30 July. Candidates who want to edit their form will be given a chance to amend their form from 1st to 10th August.

RRB Railway Technician Vacancy Details: Railway Vacancy

According to the notification issued by RRB, a total of 6238 vacancies will be filled on 23 posts through the Railway Technician Recruitment Drive. These include 183 vacancies for Technician Grade-I Signal post and a total of 6055 vacancies for Technician Grade-III post. The highest number of vacancies is 2106 for the Technician Grade III Fitter (PU & WS) post. Post-wise vacancy details can be checked in the notification.

Qualifications for RRB Railway Technician

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a BE/B.Tech, Engineering Diploma or B.Sc. degree in Engineering. For Technician Grade-III (Open Line, Workshop, and PU), candidates should have passed 10th class with ITI certificate in a relevant trade or 12th class with PCM subjects.

Age Limit: The age limit for Technician Grade-I Signal should be between 18 and 33 years as on July 1, 2025, and for Technician Grade-III posts, the age should be between 18 and 30 years. However, Railways also provides age relaxation for the RRB Technician post as per its rules.

RRB Technician Salary

The Technician Grade-I Signal post will be paid Rs 29,200 per month under Pay Level-5, and Technician Grade-III post will be paid Rs 19,900 per month under Pay Level-2.
