Indian Army

5 main ways of entry after graduation

1. CDS (Union Public Service Commission-UPSC): This exam is for both boys and girls. After selection, there is an SSB interview and medical examination.

2. Technical Entry Scheme (TGC): Engineering graduates can apply to it.

3. NCC Special Entry: Youth with NCC 'C' certificate get a chance even without CDS.

4. Judge Advocate General Entry: This is a golden opportunity for Law Graduate (LLB) candidates.

5. TA (Territorial Army): Those working in it also get a chance to do part-time service.

2 main ways of entry after 12th

1. National Defence Academy (NDA): Direct entry is done in the Army, Air Force, and Navy through the exam conducted by UPSC.

2. Technical Entry Scheme (TES): Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in 12th with 70% or more marks can apply.

Indian Navy

After graduation

1. 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme

2. CDSE/NCC ‘C’ Certificate Entry

After 12th

1. Agniveer Recruitment (SSR/MR): 12th pass boys and girls can participate in this.

2. NDA Entry: Direct recruitment is done in the technical branch of the Navy through the UPSC exam.

Indian Air Force

Entry after graduation

1. CDSE or AFCAT: Both exams are open for men and women.

2. NCC Entry: Those with an NCC 'C' certificate can join SSB without any written exam.

After 12th

1. NDA Entry: Training takes place after selection through the UPSC exam.
