Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh): A major road accident was narrowly avoided in Kanpur Dehat in Uttar Pradesh, when a speeding Scorpio SUV lost control and crashed into a road divider on July 24. The vehicle spun multiple times on impact, creating panic among nearby commuters. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
Video Shows Chilling High Speed Crash
A video of the incident, captured on a surveillance camera, has now gone viral on social media. It shows the SUV approaching at high speed, reportedly over 100 kmph, before violently hitting the divider. The force of the crash caused the vehicle to spin uncontrollably six to seven times across the road.
In a heart-stopping moment, a biker with a woman riding pillion can be seen passing dangerously close to the spinning SUV, narrowly escaping a potentially fatal collision. The SUV then can be seen stopped at the left side of the road.
Kanpur Dehat Police Responds To Viral Video
Responding to the viral clip, the Kanpur Dehat Police issued a statement confirming that no loss of life occurred and that prompt action was taken at the crash site. “The accident-affected vehicle has been promptly removed by the police, and traffic is running smoothly,” the statement read. The number of people inside the vehicle at the time of the crash remains unknown.

In another bizarre road mishap, a car was found precariously perched on a house wall in Telangana’s Medchal-Malkajgiri district, leaving locals stunned. The incident took place on Thursday in Shambhipur village, under the jurisdiction of the Medchal–Dundigal Police Station.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of a Tata Altroz appeared to be intoxicated when he lost control of the vehicle and drove it onto the side of a house. A video of the scene, showing the car stuck on the wall, has since gone viral on social media and attracted large crowds.
Traffic police rushed to the spot and used a crane to safely bring the car down. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. There is no official confirmation of any legal action taken into the matter.
