New Delhi: The fourth match of the Test series between India and England is being played in Manchester. In the second innings of this match Shubman Gills Team India had a very bad start. Actually the England team managed to gain a lead of 311 runs by scoring 669 runs in the first innings. After this when Team India came out to bat in the second innings their start was very disappointing. The Indian team lost two wickets in the very first over. By losing two wickets in the first over India has repeated the 42-year-old history. How did KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal perform? In the second innings KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal came out to open the innings for India. Chris Woakes was bowling this over from Englands side. He gave India a double blow by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal on the fourth ball of the over and Sai Sudharsan on the fifth ball. Jaiswal got out without opening his account after playing four balls. Sudharsan got out after making a golden duck. With these two wickets Team Indias 42-year-old wound became fresh again. When did players lose early wickets before? In fact this is the first time since 1983 that the Indian team has lost two wickets without opening its account in an innings of a Test match. Earlier India had lost its first two wickets without scoring any runs in a Test match against the West Indies in Chennai in December 1983. It was in this innings that Sunil Gavaskar scored 236 runs for India; this was the only time he batted at number 4 in Test cricket. What is happening in the match?
