Digilocker for PF Employees: Now using services for PF employees has become even more simple. The EPFO has announced to provide an important facility to its members through DigiLocker. Now PF employees can see and download documents like PF passbook, balance, UAN card and pension payment order through DigiLocker. Recently, the government has made several important changes to EPFO.
This new change of digitization is being seen as an important feature for PF employees. The EPFO has recently shared this information on the social media platform X, which has eliminated the problems of the employees to a great extent. Connecting the services of EPFO to Digilocker is considered an important step of the government.
Under the new government rules, EPFO members can now easily download their UAN card, PPO and other scheme documents. Previously, PF employees had to use the app to get this information. Now, direct access facilities are available to Digilocker.
It is important to know that on July 18, the government issued a big update, stating that now the UAN can be activated through face authentication through Umang app. It is necessary to be active of UAN, otherwise neither money can be checked nor withdrawn.
UAN is also required to be active to update banking and Aadhaar card information. It is clear that it is mandatory for UAN to be active for any work to PF.
