If you’re a fan of Pakistani dramas, chances are you’ve watched the superhit serial Tere Bin, which aired on Geo Entertainment from December 2022 to July 2023. The drama made waves not only in Pakistan but also across the border in India, capturing massive attention on social media and trending consistently on YouTube.

Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment and directed by Siraj-ul-Haq, the drama was penned by Nooran Makhdoom. The on-screen chemistry between Wahaj Ali (as Murtasim) and Yumna Zaidi (as Meerab) won hearts nationwide. While the show’s finale was generally appreciated, fans felt that the romantic chemistry between the lead couple wasn’t explored enough in the final episodes.

Following the huge success of the first season, calls for a sequel grew louder. In response, producer Abdullah Kadwani announced in November 2023 that Tere Bin 2 would premiere on 29 December 2023. He even promised a bigger and better season, urging fans to mark their calendars.

However, many months have passed and Season 2 has yet to air—leaving fans waiting and frustrated. Now, Yumna Zaidi has finally revealed the actual reason for the delay.

Speaking at a recent event in the United States, a video clip of which has gone viral, Yumna shared that the announcement of Tere Bin 2 was made in haste. “I think the project was announced too quickly. The decision came a bit prematurely,” she said.

She added that both producers and actors could be part of the delay, and clarified that the drama is still in the development phase. “You might get to see this project, but as of now, even I don’t have clear information,” she said.
