Actress Sheetal Maulik , currently seen shooting for Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad and also featuring in Meri Bhavya Life, recently opened up about the irreplaceable role her parents have played in her journey—both personally and professionally. Known for her performances in shows like Deewaniyat, Suhaagan, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Sheetal credits her every success to her parents.

“I'd give 100% credit to my parents for my every single achievement,” she says. “They've been my rock, providing unwavering support, guidance, and love throughout my journey. Their influence has shaped me into the person I am today, and I'm forever grateful. It is said that a child chooses their parents, and I am so proud of my choice.”

Reflecting on her mother’s calm nature, Sheetal adds, “One quality I've tried to adopt is their patience. My mom’s composed demeanor even in tough times is inspiring. I struggle with impatience, but I’m working on it every day.”

She also fondly recalls how her parents never burdened her with expectations. “The best thing about them is they never expected anything. There was no wish list—just pure happiness in whatever I did. My papa is no more, but I always heard him tell my friends, ‘I do have a son, and that's my daughter Sheetal.’ That made me so proud.”

Speaking on a more serious note, Sheetal expresses dismay toward people who abandon their parents. “That should be the last thought in anyone’s mind. Parents are selfless. Abandoning them causes immense pain. Caring for them is not just duty—it’s gratitude and an example for generations to come.”
