A toll pass of ₹ 3000 is now going to end the problem of repaying the toll repeatedly on the National Highway. The government has announced a new scheme, under which you can pass through a toll plaza 200 times a year without any payment.
This feature is especially for those who regularly travel on national highways. The scheme will be applicable from August 15, and the registration link for it will be available from August 4.
This service will be fully associated with the fastag system, in which users will have to pay ₹ 3000 in their fastag account. Next, the pass will be active and the toll will automatically be forgiven during the journey on the highway.
The scheme has been introduced under the Digital India campaign, making the toll collection process more transparent and simplified. After registration, users can activate this toll pass through the IRCTC app, website or their bank portal.
This scheme will provide relief to passengers from repeated paying toll, as well as jam at toll booths, cash transactions and time wastage of time.
The government not only wants to strengthen Digital India through this scheme, but also to provide a simple and easy travel experience to the public. The validity of this toll pass will be one year and users will be able to take advantage of it 200 times a year.
