The first captain Shubman Gill played a century innings and scored 103 runs with the help of 12 fours. Then Ravindra Jadeja played 107 and Washington Sundar, playing an innings of 101 runs, crossed the team. Both shared a 203* (334 ball) run partnership for the fifth wicket. Earlier, Gill and Rahul shared 188 (417 balls) runs for the third wicket.
In the match, England won the toss and decided to bowl. First batting, Team India scored 358 runs at the loss of 10 wickets. Then England did amazing in their first innings, scoring 669/10 runs on the board and gained a lead of 311 runs. It felt from here that now the Indian team would lose an innings.
On the fourth day, the second innings for Team India was very poor. The team lost 2 wickets as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sai Sudarshan without scoring any runs. After this, Rahul and Gill took the front and crossed the fourth day. After this, Gill and Rahul returned to the pavilion on the fifth day. Then Jadeja and Sundar Drew the match while handling Daromdar.
England are ahead 1-2 in the series after the fourth Test ends. England won the first match. Then India won the match in the second match. After this, England won the series by winning the third match. Then the fourth test ended at the draw.
