The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for the first round of NEET UG 2025 counseling. The MCC has extended the last date of registration for the first phase to July 31. Now candidates can register to participate in the counseling process till the newly prescribed last date. At the same time, the result of seat allocation for the first round will be declared on August 3.

Earlier, the MCC had directed the candidates applying under the NRI quota to submit their required documents by July 26. The choice-filling process for Round 1 was briefly halted due to issues with incomplete data and duplication of seats in the NEET UG 2025 seat matrix.

This counseling process is being conducted for admission to 15 per cent of the All India Quota seats in MBBS and Dental colleges. In addition, about 2,000 MBBS seats in 17 AIIMS, 507 BSc Nursing seats in nine institutes, and about 14,000 seats in deemed universities are included in this process. Candidates can fill in the choice form and lock their seat from 4 pm to 12 midnight on July 31.

Visit the official website of MCC mcc.nic.in. Go to the UG Medical Counseling section.
Register or log in using NEET UG credentials.
Fill out the application form and pay the fees.
Fill and submit the choice-filling.
Students who will be allotted seats in Round 1. They have to report to their respective colleges from August 4 to August 8 and complete the admission process. For more information in this regard, you can check the counseling notification issued on the official website of MCC.

The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted by NTA on 4 May at various centers across the country. The exam was held in pen-and-paper mode. The results were declared on 14 June. More than 12 lakh candidates have passed the exam.
