The last date of application for RRB Technician Grade 1 and 3 Recruitment (RRB Technician Recruitment 2025) has been extended by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates who have not been able to fill out the application form for any reason till now can now apply till the extended date of 7th August. Eligibility and Criteria

To apply for RRB Technician Grade 1 posts, the candidate must have passed BSc/BTech/BE/3 year Polytechnic Diploma, etc., in the relevant field. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 33 years.

To apply for Railway Technician Grade 3 posts, the candidate should have passed 10th from a recognized board along with an ITI. The minimum age for Grade 3 posts has been fixed at 18 years, and the maximum age at 30 years.

Candidates coming from the reserved category will be given the prescribed relaxation in the upper age limit. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st July 2025. For detailed details of eligibility, do take a look at the official notification once.

Application Process

To fill the RRB Technician Application Form 2025, you have to visit the official portal rrbapply.gov.in.

After clicking on the Apply button here, click on Create an Account and register by filling in the required details.

After this, click on Already Have an Account and fill in the other details to complete the form.

Finally, submit the form by paying the prescribed fee, take a printout of it, and keep it safe.

How much will the category-wise fee?

Candidates coming from the unreserved, OBC and EWS categories will have to deposit Rs 500 as fee. The application fee for SC / ST / female candidates of all categories has been fixed at Rs 250.
