The incident is of Som Lalit School located in Navrangpura area. This sad incident on Thursday shook everyone. In the CCTV footage of the school, it was shown that the student was walking in the lobby at around 12:30 pm. Then suddenly he crossed the railing and jumped. The friends tried to stop, but failed.

The incident happened when the lunch break was going on in the school. After the student jumped, there was a scream in the school. Class students ran towards the railing. The teacher also came out. But no one could understand anything. After jumping, the student suffered serious injuries, including deep head injuries and fractures in the bones of hands and feet. He was immediately rushed to the nearest Nidhi Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU. Later, the family shifted him to another hospital in Thaltej, but died during treatment.

'No suspicion of disturbances'

Police said- The reason for the suicide of the student has not yet been ascertained. We are collecting more information about the incident. At the moment we do not suspect any disturbance, yet we are investigating all aspects. It is too early to comment on why he took this step.

School was returned after holiday

The school's manager Pragnesh Shastri said- the student was studying in the school for the last five years, recently she returned to school 10 days ago after a month's holiday. He also submitted a medical certificate in the school. The student's father left her school in the morning. According to the students, she suddenly started screaming during the class. However, the teacher had pacified him. The Navrangpura police has registered a Medico-legal case in this case and has started investigation. The police have recorded statements of school teachers, employees and some students. CCTV footage is being investigated. On the other hand, the family is shocked by the death of the student.
