Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah, known for her bold roles and outspoken personality, is once again in the spotlight—this time for speaking out against the bullying and sidelining she has faced within the entertainment industry. Her recent statements have sparked widespread support from fans, especially after an old video clip of senior actress and director Rubina Ashraf made its way back onto social media, drawing sharp criticism from the public.

In the resurfaced clip, Rubina Ashraf harshly criticizes Alizeh’s acting skills while reviewing her Eid telefilm Chand Raat Aur Chandni. She goes as far as saying, “I have seen this girl in many plays. The numbers you’ve given her are actually the credit of the writer and the director. Her makeup is the only thing worth mentioning. For me, Alizeh is zero—not just in this project, but in all her dramas. She never breaks free from her curls, lipsticks, and overall look.”

This statement, now viral, has triggered a backlash online, with many accusing Rubina Ashraf of being unnecessarily demeaning, especially toward an actress who has openly admitted to struggling with mental health issues. Fans and social media users rallied behind Alizeh, calling the remarks unprofessional and rooted in personal bias.

One user commented, “Rubina Ashraf seems to hold a personal grudge against Alizeh Shah. If every girl with makeup deserves a zero, then what are we really judging?” Another said, “She’s clearly jealous of Alizeh’s beauty. Her own daughter doesn’t compare, and that bitterness shows.” Others highlighted the double standards, pointing out that male actors are rarely held to such superficial standards.

With fans now reposting older interviews and clips where fellow celebrities have criticized Alizeh, the actress has become a symbol of resistance against toxic industry behavior. Supporters are calling on the industry to self-reflect and adopt a more respectful and empathetic approach toward artists—especially young women finding their way in a competitive and often unforgiving environment.

As calls grow louder to “stop bullying Alizeh Shah,” the episode serves as a reminder of how damaging unchecked public criticism from senior figures can be—particularly when aimed at younger talent still navigating their careers.
