Soya Chap Stick-10-12
Curd – 1/2 cup
Onion – 2
Tomatoes – 4
Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 T Spoon
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Tejpatta – 1
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cardamom – 2
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri Methi – 1 T Spoon
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Whole cumin – 1 tsp
Clove-4-5
Butter – 1 tsp
Oil – According to the requirement
Salt – as per taste
First of all, take soya chap and wash them thoroughly in water. After this, cut pieces of soy arc.
– Keep the pieces slightly large so that it will be easy to fry. Now put oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add soya arc pieces and deep fry them.
– When the color of the arc becomes golden and crispy, turn off the gas and take them out in a vessel.
Now add curd, half a teaspoon turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala and salt to the fried soy chap and mix them and cover the vessel and keep the arc to marinate for half an hour.
Now take another pan and heat it by adding 2 tablespoons oil to it. After the oil is hot, add finely chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste and fry till the onion becomes light golden.
After this, add chopped tomatoes and mix it and let it cook till it becomes soft. After this, turn off the gas.
When this spice cools down, grind it with the help of a mixer and prepare a paste and keep it aside. Now put 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tsp butter in the pan and heat it.
After this, add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds and fry it. When the fragrance starts coming from the spices, add all the remaining spices to it and then subse it.
– When the spices are well roasted, add onion-tomato paste. Now let the spices cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
– When you start leaving the gravy oil, add a mourning masala soy chap in it and mix well with gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes.
After this, add 1 cup of water and mix. Now cover the pan and let the soy chap cook on medium flame for 15 minutes.
During this time, keep running the arc in between. Finally add kasuri fenugreek and turn off the gas. The taste -rich soya chap masala is ready.
