UPI (Unified Payment Interface) has made digital payments easier. Now you can make a payment to anyone sitting anywhere in just a few minutes. After the arrival of UPI (UPI New Rules 1 August), we no longer need cash for transactions. It is not just a means of payment, but has become our need.
Some big changes are going to happen in UPI after 1 August (New Rules 1 August), i.e., 3 days later. It is very important for you to know about them. Let's talk about these changes one by one.
What will change?
Balance check limit
Checking a bank account in an app
Autopay only at a fixed time
Limit on checking payment status.
Limit on payment reversal.
Balance check limit
Users were able to check the balance of the bank account or how much money is there as many times as they wanted. But now a limit has been fixed in this. From August 1, a user will be able to check the balance only 50 times a day. This limit has been kept so that there is no pressure on the server while making other important payments.
Checking a bank account in an app
In this way, each user will be able to see the details related to the bank account only 25 times a day from an app.
Autopay only at a fixed time
Today, we use the Autopay service to make important payments easy. So that the payment related to our needs is done easily and on time. Today, we use Autopay from OTT app payment to SIP payment.
Now this Autopay will work only at a fixed time. This fixed time is as follows-
Before 10 am
From 1 pm to 5 pm
Limit on checking payment status.
Every person must check the status once or twice after making a payment. Whether it is for his convenience or to show the payment status to the other person. Now, a limit has been imposed on this status check as well. You will be able to see the payment status only 3 times a day. There must be a gap of at least 90 seconds between them.
Limit on payment reversal.
Now the limit for chargeback i.e., payment reversal, has also been fixed. Each user can ask for chargeback 10 times in 30 days and 5 times from a person or entity.
