Munak Canal Elevated Road : The government is going to give a big gift to the people of Delhi. Recently, the Delhi government announced that 20 km long elevated road will be built on the Munak Canal.

After the creation of this elevated road, there will be relief in traffic jams, reduction in air pollution and connectivity of the city. This road will be built above the Munak Canal. This road will be about 20 km long from Mundka to Hyderpur.

This new corridor will be connected to the north, west and central parts of Delhi. It is being told that its work has started rapidly. Under this project, a new road and Yamuna River Front will also be developed below the elevated road.

This river front will promote the environment. People can also come here to visit here. Under this scheme, both transport and tourism will be boosted together. The government will spend Rs 5,000 crore for this project.

This elevated road will be built in modern methods. These roads will pass through many important residential and industrial areas of Delhi – like Bawana, Shahabad, Siraspur, Rohini, Pitampura, Model Town and Mukherjee Nagar.

This will make the facility of coming and going in these areas much better. Millions of people traveling for business, job and studies will benefit greatly from this road.

The pressure of major routes like the new elevated corridor outer ring road and GT Karnal Road will reduce the pressure to a great extent. This will reduce traffic jams on the roads.
