The date of the Stenographer and Combined Hindi Translator Recruitment Examination has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission. The examination for these recruitments will be conducted in the month of August.

SSC Exam Date 2025: The date of the Stenographer and Combined Hindi Translator Recruitment Examination has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam 2025 and Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2025 (Paper-I) will be held in August itself. SSC Exam Date 2025: When will the exams be held?

SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' exams will be conducted on 6th, 7th and 8th August 2025. A total of 261 posts will be recruited through this exam. Talking about transcription skills, the time limit for Group D posts is 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi. At the same time, for Group C posts, 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi will be given.

Combined Hindi Translator Exam (Paper-I) will be conducted by SSC on 12th August 2025. A total of 437 posts will be recruited through this exam. The recruitment includes posts like Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Translator and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in Central Reserve Police Force.

Selection Process

The selection process for Hindi Translator posts will be in two phases. The first stage will be a Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be taken on 12 August 2025. Only those candidates who are successful in this paper will be called for Paper-2 i.e. Descriptive Examination. SSC will announce the date of Paper-2 later.
