Actress Zara Noor Abbas recently took to Instagram to express her strong support for the joint family system, calling it an effective solution to the growing loneliness and disconnection in today’s society.

In a heartfelt post, Zara emphasized the importance of living closely with siblings and close friends, suggesting that people should consider buying land together and building a shared family lifestyle. She reflected on how in earlier generations, great-grandparents lived so near to each other that it was easy to walk to a relative’s house. Families would dine together, offer advice, and collectively care for each other’s children without hesitation or concern.

She stated, “We need to go back to that way of living. Long live the joint family system.”

Zara’s comments highlight a nostalgic longing for stronger family bonds and a more community-based approach to life — one where love, support, and shared responsibilities form the foundation of everyday living.

Zara Noor Abbas comes from a well-known artistic family in Pakistan. She is the daughter of actress Asma Abbas and the niece of legendary actress Bushra Ansari. In 2017, she married fellow actor Asad Siddiqui, and the couple has a daughter together.

Her post struck a chord with many followers who resonated with the idea of rekindling traditional family values in an increasingly isolated world.
