Lucknow News: A dialogue meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with the public representatives of Lucknow division at his government residence. In the meeting, 42 MLAs and 5 Legislative Council members representing various assembly constituencies of districts of the divisions- Lucknow, Hardoi, Rae Bareli, Unnao, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri informed the Chief Minister about the major proposed projects, infrastructure requirements and public expectations to their respective areas.
The Chief Minister said that the regional experience of the public representatives and the intensive understanding of the local surface provides a new vision to the government in determining and effective implementation of the schemes. This dialogue system is a vibrant link of faith between the government and the society. He directed the officials to take seriously the suggestions of the public representatives, but the 3,397 development proposals received, which are estimated to be ₹ 42,891 crore, should be taken seriously and these projects should be completed on a priority basis.
Referring to the historical, cultural and social specialty of all the districts and assembly constituencies of the Mandal, the Chief Minister said that each district has a distinct identity, which must be adjusted by empowering the development schemes. He said that Lucknow is not only the center of new modernity, but also a lively example of the cultural capital of Awadh, art, literature and rituals. Like Kashi, its soul is eternal and its intimacy is global. In Hardoi, the tradition of truth and tenacity is created in depth. Rae Bareli is also rich in terms of literature, freedom struggle and folk art.
The Chief Minister said that Unnao district has been the work place of Chandrashekhar Azad and other heroes of the freedom struggle. He said that developmental projects in Unnao should be encouraged consolidated with the historical consciousness of freedom struggle. The Chief Minister said that the religious and spiritual dignity of Sitapur district is unique, considering Naimisharanya as the center. This is the land where the sages listened to the Vedas. He said that Lakhimpur Kheri Dudhwa is established on the global wildlife map due to the National Park. The biodiversity here, agricultural prosperity of the Terai and Tharu culture make it unique.
The Chief Minister said that the unique identity of these districts makes them important. In view of this, emphasizing the need for regular review of the projects going on in every district and assembly constituencies of the division, he said that clear action plan, timeliness and sustainable dialogue and regular feedback are the basis to complete the projects on time and with quality. He assured the public representatives that the state government is sensitive on every subject to public interest. He said that every public representative is the conductor of public aspirations. The state government will implement these suggestions and demands on priority basis.
The Chief Minister directed the Public Works Department to ensure prompt action on proposals to roads, long bridges, small bridges, ROB/RUB, roads of charitable, flyover, based on the preference given by the public representatives on the basis of the preference given by the public representatives. Also, make the district headquarters four lanes and the block headquarters with two lanes, sugar mill roads, single connectivity roads and the work of black spot improvement should be completed 100 percent. Apart from this, keep the construction of roads in the villages of public representatives and martyrs on priority. He said that continuity of development works to public interest should be maintained in every assembly constituency, due to which the chances of pick and choke will remain minimal.
The Chief Minister said that under the Chief Minister’s Tourism Promotion Scheme, beautification of more than 1000 religious places in the state and tourism facilities have been developed. Directing the Tourism Department, the Chief Minister said that an action plan for the development of tourism facilities should be prepared by selecting at least one tourist destination in each assembly constituency. Similarly, the Chief Minister clearly stated to the Urban Development Department that before preparing the proposal of any project, guidance and consent should be obtained from the concerned public representatives, so that the project is proved to be in accordance with the regional needs.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure timely, coordinated and transparent action at all points raised by public representatives. Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone of the schemes should be done after 15 September with the tax lotus of public representatives. Simultaneously mark their name on Shilapatta. He also said that any unnecessary delay or laxity will not be acceptable in the implementation of development schemes. The quality and fair monitoring of each work is included in the priority of the regime.
