The Bayside Sports School Dad's Football Championship 2025 kicked off on 29th July at the St. Stanislaus Sports Complex, Bandra. With 12 teams and 120 players participating across 2 turfs, the event brought together fathers from various schools for a spirited football competition filled with enthusiasm and teamwork.
Turf 1 Matches, In the first match, OIS Kingsmen secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Don Bosco International. Both teams had 6 shots on target, but OIS made their one opportunity count. The second match saw Scottish Rangers dominate Tridads with a strong 4-1 win, showcasing attacking flair with 6 shots on target and solid tackling.
In Match 3, Petit Panthers edged out AVM FC 1-0, in a defensively intense game where both sides matched each other with 2 shots on target, but Petit capitalized on a crucial chance.
Turf 2 Matches, The first encounter on Turf 2 had JNS 49 ERS overpowering AVM FC with a 3-1 win, showing attacking depth with 7 corners and matching offsides at 15 each. In the next game, JNS 49 ERS played out an exciting 3-3 draw against Scottish Strikers FC, in a match filled with equal possession, chances, and high offside counts (21 vs 23).
The final Turf 2 match featured NIS Lakers narrowly defeating JBCN Legends FC 2-1, with both teams creating chances and pressing each other throughout.
Rohan Desai from JNS 49 ERS was named the Player of the Day for his brilliant performance across both matches, playing a pivotal role in his team's victory and draw. His control, decision-making, and on-field awareness made him stand out among the day’s top performers.
