It is also the 15th consecutive time that India has lost a toss in international cricket. The last time the Asian Giants won the toss was during the T20I hosted by Rajkot against England. Since then, 14 tosses have gone against them. Nevertheless, Gill remained upbeat, claiming at the toss that he doesn't care about winning them if India wins the Test.
