Ingredients to make chicken losad

500 grams chicken
1 cup curd
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt
3 big tomatoes
2 big onions
2 green chillies
1/2 cup cashew paste
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon coriander powder

Complete method of making chicken losa

First of all, wash the chicken thoroughly and keep it in the vessel. Add curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, coriander powder and salt and mix well.
Keep the chicken for 30 minutes to marinate. This will enable chicken spices to absorb well and will make it very tasty when cooked.
Heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add cumin and asafoetida to it. Then add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few seconds.
Now add finely chopped onion and fry the onion till it turns golden brown.
Add green chili and then add puree tomatoes and let it cook well. Cook the tomato and onion mixture until it starts releasing oil.
Next, add cashew paste and mix it well. Cashew paste will make the gravy creamy and thick.
Coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and garam masala. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add the marinated chicken gravy and mix well.
Let the chicken cook for 10-12 minutes. If the gravy is very thick, you can add a little water. Then, add cream and milk. This chicken will make Lababdar rich and creamy.
Now let the chicken cook for 5-7 minutes. The chicken will be covered well in the gravy.
When the chicken is completely cooked and the gravy becomes thick, then add green coriander and decorate it.
