FASTag Annual Pass from August 15: Travel Toll-Free Across National Highways for a Year or 200 Trips

This pass aims to simplify the experience for regular highway travelers, saving both time and money while eliminating the hassle of frequent FASTag recharges.
The FASTag Annual Pass is a prepaid, one-time payment option designed for private vehicle owners who frequently use national highways and government-run expressways. Once activated, the pass allows a user to travel toll-free on selected toll plazas—either for 200 trips or a full year, whichever limit is reached first. This initiative is part of MoRTH’s effort to improve digital toll collection and streamline travel for daily commuters.
To get started, users must:
Visit the official NHAI website or download the RajmargYatra mobile app.
Ensure their vehicle details are updated and verified through the VAHAN database.
Make a one-time payment of ₹3,000 for the 2025–26 pass.
Once the payment is confirmed, the annual pass will be activated on the linked FASTag within 2 hours.
Note: Only private vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans are eligible. Commercial vehicles are not permitted, and if the pass is misused, it will be immediately deactivated without warning.
The FASTag Annual Pass is valid only on toll plazas located on:
National Highways (NH)
National Expressways (NE)
It is not applicable on:
State Highways (SH)
Parking facilities
City municipal toll booths
Private toll roads
In these areas, your FASTag will function like a regular tag, and standard toll charges will apply.
The pass remains active from the date of activation for:
200 trips, or
12 months
(Whichever is completed first)
Once the limit is reached—either in terms of time or number of toll crossings—the pass will automatically revert to regular FASTag usage. If users wish to continue enjoying toll-free travel, they will need to re-activate the annual pass by making a fresh payment for the next year.
