An Indigo flight flying from Mumbai to Kolkata caused chaos when a passenger suddenly slapped his hitchhiker. The incident occurred on Friday after landing of flight number 6E138. The video of this incident is spreading rapidly on social media, in which the whole situation is clearly visible.
It can be seen in the video that an airhostess is taking a passenger towards the other seat, when another passenger sitting behind suddenly raises his hand and slaps. As soon as the slap starts, the person starts crying emotional. Other passengers strongly condemned the behavior and expressed displeasure over the attacker.
During the incident, flight airhostesses and other passengers tried to calm the attacker. The Airhostess asked him not to do so, but was slapped by then. After this incident, passengers described this violent behavior as completely unacceptable.
Indigo Airlines handed over the concerned passenger to the security personnel at Kolkata Airport immediately after the incident. Airlines said in an official statement that such behavior is completely unacceptable and it hurts the dignity of passengers and crew. He also clarified that the crew followed all the rules and all regulatory agencies have been informed.
After such an assault, the person has been declared a ‘unarmedic passenger’, which means that he will not be able to travel on the airline flight for some time.
