The Department of Posts has announced the launch of the APT application. This application is a major jump towards digital excellence and nation building. Under this transformational initiative, the advanced system will be implemented on 04 August 2025 in 353 post offices and 61 branch post offices of Delhi.A planned downtime has been set on 2 August 2025 to enable uninterrupted and safe transit on this advanced digital platform. This means that on August 2, no public transactions will be done in 353 post offices and 61 branch post offices of Delhi. This temporary suspension of services is necessary to facilitate data migration, system verification and configuration processes, so that it is ensured that the new system is smooth and efficiently implemented. During this time, 35 post offices of Delhi will be open and will conduct public transactions.These post offices will be open on 2nd dateAmar Colony, Aliganj, Andrewjganj, CGO Complex, Dargah Sharif, Defense Colony, District Court Campus Saket, East of Kailash, East of Kailash Face-I, Gautam Nagar, Golf Links, Gulmohar Park, Hari Nagar Ashram, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Jangpura, Kasturba Nagar, Krishna Market, Lajpat Nagar, Lodi Road, Malviya Nagar, MMTC, Nehru Nagar, New Delhi Sauratha Extension-II, Panchsheel Enclave, Pragati Vihar, Pratap Market, Pushp Vihar, Sadiq Nagar, Safdarjung Airport, Saket, Sant Nagar, Sarvodaya Enclave, South Malviya Nagar, Srinivaspuri and Jeevan Nagar Branch Post Office.The APT application is designed to provide better user experience, sharp service delivery and more customer-friendly interfaces, which reflect our unwavering commitment to provide smart, skilled and prepared postal operations for future.It has been informed by the Department of Posts that we request our respected customers to make a plan to come to the post office in advance and support us during this brief disruption.
