The Department of Posts has announced the launch of the APT application. This application is a major jump towards digital excellence and nation building. Under this transformational initiative, the advanced system will be implemented on 04 August 2025 in 353 post offices and 61 branch post offices of Delhi.A planned downtime has been set on 2 August 2025 to enable uninterrupted and safe transit on this advanced digital platform. This means that on August 2, no public transactions will be done in 353 post offices and 61 branch post offices of Delhi. This temporary suspension of services is necessary to facilitate data migration, system verification and configuration processes, so that it is ensured that the new system is smooth and efficiently implemented.
