Honda CB125 Hornet & Shine 100 Dx Launched : Honda has once again created a stir in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company has launched two new motorcycles on August 1, 2025 – Honda CB125 Hornet and Shine 100 Dx. While the CB125 Hornet is specially designed keeping in mind the young riders, the shine 100 dx is for that customers who are looking for a reliable and affordable commerce. Bookings for both the bikes have started and deliveries can start by mid-august.
CB125 Hornet has been introduced by Honda as a Sporty Motorcycle with a Street Naked Design. Its design is quite aggressive with a muscular fuel tank, stubby muffler and segment-friendly golden usd front forks. The bike is available in four stunning color options – lemon ice yellow with pearl siren blue, Athletic Blue Metallic and Sports Red.
This bike has a 4.2-inch full digital tft display with Honda Roadsync Technology. With this, users can see calls, messages, navigation and bike details on the screen. Apart from this, The bike has full Led Lighting, 240mm Front Petal Disc Brake, Single Channel Abs and Engine Cut-of System Connected to the side stand.
The CB125 Hornet has a 123.94cc OBD2B Compliant Engine, which gives 11 hp power at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 nm torque at 6,000 rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox and according to the company, this bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.4 seconds. Apart from this, type-c charging port and adjustable rear monoshock suspension are also provided which makes it Quite Premium.
The Honda Shine 100 Dx has been introduced as a classic and reliable commuter. Some new changes have been made in this bike as compared to before, which makes it more attractive. Chrome Finish has been given Around its headlamp and muffler cover, new graphics and stylish grab rails improve its look. The engine now comes in black color, which makes its Finish Look More Neat.
The shine 100 dx has a 98.98cc single cylinder engine that generates 7.28 hp power and 8.04 nm torque. It has a 4-speed gearbox and come with Honda’s esp Technology which helps in detail efficiency and smooth performance.
The bike retains the old suspension setup like telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers. Drum brakes have been provided in bot the wheels for braking. A new basic lcd meter has also been given which gives services service alerts and mileage information.
The ex-showroom price of Honda CB125 Hornet is Rs 1,12,000 and the shine 100 dx is priced at Rs 74,959. Bookings for Both the Bikes Have Started In India and Deliveries are expected from Mid-August 2025.
