SSC CGL 2025: There is great news for the youth preparing for competitive examinations for government jobs. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 14582 vacancies in various central ministries, departments, and organizations under the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2025. There are 6183 vacancies for the unreserved category, 2167 for SC, 1088 for ST, 3721 for OBC, and 1423 for EWS. The last date to apply for SSC CGL 2025 was July 4.

According to the post/department-wise vacancy details announced by the commission, the highest number of vacancies, about 6,753, is for Office Superintendent, CBDT, Ministry of Finance. Apart from this, there are about 1,306 vacancies for Inspector (Central Excise, CBIC), about 1,249 for Tax Assistant (CBDT), and about 1,249 for Tax Assistant (CBDT).

SSC CGL 2025: SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL 2025 Tier-1 Exam from 13th August will be held till August 30, 2025. The Tier-2 exam will be held in December 2025. Let's know about the Tier-1 exam pattern-

Exam Duration: 60 minutes (one hour)
For PwD candidates: 80 minutes

Important points:
2 marks will be given for each correct answer.
There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
This exam will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
The marks obtained at this stage will be used to prepare the cut-off and shortlist the candidates for Tier-2.
