Shani sadesati: Saturday is considered to be extremely auspicious for worshiping Shani Dev and offering prayers. He has been called the god of karma and justice. It is believed that the lesson of Shani Stotra proves to be extremely fruitful for a person who suffers from Saturn’s half -century, dhaiya or other defects. This hymn was composed by King Dasharatha with the aim of pleasing Shani Dev. It is also mentioned in the Padma Purana.
It is said that King Dasaratha composed this praise to protect his kingdom from the point of view of Shani Dev. This hymn not only relieves Shani defects, but also provides mental peace and spiritual energy to the person.
According to mythology, Shani Dev is pleased by reciting the Dasharathakrit Shani Stotra and the native gets freedom from sufferings. This hymn is considered extremely effective, especially for those who are passing through Saturn’s half -century or dhaiya.
According to the legend described in the Padma Purana, astrologers told King Dasaratha of Ayodhya that Shanidev has reached the end of Kritika Nakshatra and now he will enter Rohini Nakshatra. If they penetrate Rohini, then there will be a famine of twelve years on earth. Hearing this, King Dasharatha became very worried and reached from the skyway to meet Shani Dev.
When King Dasharatha praised Shani Dev, he was pleased and asked him to ask for a boon. King Dasaratha said, "As long as the Sun, Moon and Earth exist, please do not penetrate the Rohini Nakshatra." On this, Shani Dev gave him a boon and promised that he would not penetrate the Rohini Nakshatra in future.
Shanidev said, "Whoever worships me methodically, I will never give him any trouble and will always protect him." He further said that if Shani is situated in the fourth house in someone’s horoscope, then it can get trouble. But if he worships the luheated shanipratima with reverence and devotion with Shami letters, donate sesame mixed urad-bhat, iron, black or black cow or black Vrishabh to Brahmin, and recite the Dasharathakrit Shani Stotra, "So I will never hurt him."
Doshas like Saturn Sadesati and Dhaiya can bring many types of mental, economic and family crisis in life. But according to the advice of mythological recognition and experienced astrologers, the regular lesson of Dasharathakrit Shani Stotra can provide relief from all these problems. The influence of this hymn is considered the simplest and effective way to achieve the grace of Shani Dev.
