Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced to start the application process for recruitment to many posts, including staff nurse and pharmacist, from August 5, 2025.

For which posts is the recruitment out?

Under this recruitment, appointments will be made to posts like Staff Nurse, Junior Pharmacist, ANM, Lab Assistant, Food Safety Officer, Electrician, Junior Radiographer, and Junior Surgical Assistant. These posts will be filled in Health and Medical Education Department, Food and Drugs Department and other departments.

How much salary will be given?

The candidates selected for these posts will get a salary ranging from 19,900 to 81,100 every month. The salary will vary according to the grade pay and level of the post. Also, DA, HRA and other allowances will also be available as per the rules of the Central Government.

What should be the qualification?

Staff Nurse: GNM (General Nursing Midwifery) or B.Sc Nursing pass candidates can apply.

Junior Pharmacist: Must have a diploma in pharmacy.

ANM: Only candidates who have passed the ANM course are eligible.

Lab Assistant/Radiographer/Technician: Diploma or degree in the relevant field is required.

Food Safety Officer: Graduation in any recognized subject like Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology or Pharmacy is required.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years. Reserved categories will get age relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process

A written test will be conducted by JKSSB. There may also be a skill test for some technical posts. After this there will be document verification and the final merit list will be released.

This much application fee will have to be paid

General category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500 for recruitment. While the fee for reserved category (SC/ST/PH/EWS) is Rs 400. Fee can be deposited through online mode.
