Mohammed Siraj-led bowling attack helped Team India clinch a nail-biter at The Kia Oval in London. With 35 runs for England to win but only four wickets left, the visitors left everything on the field to seal a 11-run win and thereby level the series 2-2.

Mohammed Siraj starred as Team India clinched a jaw-dropping Test at The Oval to help the tourists pull off a series draw on Day 5 of the fifth and final match. The right-arm speedster took five wickets and notably celebrated the last scalp of Gus Atkinson with gusto as England fell seven runs short of completing the highest-ever run-chase at The Kia Oval.

Overton and Smith were looking exceedingly nervous in the closing minutes of Day 4 as Team India staged a sensational comeback in the post-tea session. The tourists looked down and out before going to tea as the whirlwind partnership of 195 between Harry Brook and Joe Root left the Englishmen with only 57 runs to get. Brook and Root scored nerveless tons but fell at the doorstep of victory, giving India a tiny bit of hope.

The tourists snaffled it with both hands as they came with a renewed hope of energy in the post-tea session, consistently beating the Indian batters' bat and hit the pads. Prasidh Krishna reaped the rewards of some sustained pressure, starting by flattening Jacob Bethell's middle stump, followed by nicking Joe Root to Dhruv Jurel behind the stumps. Shubman Gill and co. were right back in it, with the ball causing all sorts of problems to the batters.

Mohammed Siraj shows outstanding character after fielding blunder on Day 5

Siraj had notably given Harry Brook a life when the Yorkshire batter was on 19 and the star cricketer went on to score 111 runs. Additionally, he stitched a 195-run stand with Joe Root to make look the target of 374 into a mediocre one. Despite India needing only four wickets on Day 5, England entered as firm favourites.

Jamie Overton smashed two fours to bring the target down to 27 but Siraj struck back to remove both Overton and Jamie Smith. Krishna nipped out Josh Tongue to take Team India one step closer, while Siraj snaffled his fifth wicket of the ininngs as the Asian Giants closed out their narrowest win by runs.
