The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not found any evidence against Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi minister Satendra Jain. On Monday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court accepted the CBI’s closure report against the AAP leader. The court has also admitted that CBI has not found any criminal evidence against Satendra Jain even after a long investigation. In such a situation, no further action can be taken against Satendra under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 or any other crime. After this decision of the court, now AAP has started an attack on the box.

Rouse Avenue Court Special Judge Dig Vinay Singh of Delhi on Monday accepted the CBI closure report against Satendra Jain. Judge Dig Vinay Singh said that the CBI has done a long investigation into the matter. Even after this, no evidence has been found against Jain, which can prove the charge of corruption on him. In such a situation, no action is justified on them. The court also clarified that every decision that does not fully follow the rules cannot be brought under the purview of corruption. This requires concrete evidence, which is not found in this case.

CBI was investigating from May 29, 2019

The CBI lodged an FIR against the Delhi government’s Vigilance Vigilance on May 29, 2019 against the then Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Satendra Jain and other PWD officials. The complaint alleged that Jain and PWD officials had irregularly appointed a 17 -member ‘Creative Team’ in violation of the rules. It was also alleged that the standard recruitment process for these appointments was sidelined and paid from the un project fund, which was a violation of financial rules. After this, the CBI started investigating it.

No proof found even after 4 years of investigation

The CBI has investigated the entire case for about 4 years. Even after this, CBI did not find any evidence against Satendra Jain. After which the CBI filed its closure report in the court in 2022, stating that no criminal evidence has been found against Satendra and others. Initially, Satendra Jain and others were accused of bribery and individual benefits in this case. At the same time, the Delhi government has come to know about financial losses. The CBI has made it clear in its closure report that no evidence has been found for the allegations made against Jain and others.
