A few days ago, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, called Yuzvendra Chahal a ‘cartoon’ in an interaction with Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra when she was asked about a term for the leg spinner.

While the comment was floating around the internet for a while, Yuzvendra Chahal’s recent podcast with Raj Shamani might have added an interesting twist to the tale!

Yuzi said that people sometimes take him for granted because of his funny persona, but he knows about everything and notices everyone who speaks about him; sometimes, he just doesn’t react.

What Are People Saying About Yuzvendra’s Statement?

People are saying that Yuzi’s statement might be an indirect reply to Ritika and Rohit’s ‘cartoon’ comment.

But some of them said that the two things might not even be related to each other.

One user commented, “Yuzi's podcast reply is like the cricket world's version of a good hackathon project - it's got all the pieces, but somehow still manages to leave you wondering what the hell it's supposed to be.

Another user commented, “Yuzvendra is a Team India player, a colleague of Rohit, and this is how she words him behind his back, infront of samaj & global.audience ‘cartoon’. Absolutely disgusting.”

One user reacted, “Just imagine if someone call Rohit sharma cartoon or say sarcastic on his memory. You have to respect every human being thats basic sense.”

Another user reacted, “What is wrong in calling him a cartoon? Just face it man. Life is about accepting reality. By not accepting reality, you approached and married a girl based on how she looked, knowing that you only had money to pursuade her n she married u based on how much she can have from you.”

Yuzvendra Chahal was last seen in IPL 2025, where he played for Punjab Kings against RCB, who ultimately won the tournament’s title for the first time.

Interestingly, Yuzi had also played for RCB from 2014 to 2021.
