MP Weather Update: Yellow alert for rain in these 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh, know today’s weather

MP Weather Report: Heavy rains occurred for a short while on Monday in 8 districts including Gwalior, Chhatarpur in the northern part of Madhya Pradesh. These districts also received rain on Sunday. On the other hand, due to the rising water level of Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh, the Mandakini river in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh was in spate.

According to the Meteorological Department, a trough and cyclonic circulation is active in the northern region, the effect of which is also being seen in the state. Due to this, Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur may receive heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours, in which about 4.5 inches of water may fall. At the same time, in areas where it will not rain, people may be troubled by humidity.

Temperature of Madhya Pradesh : Weather of five cities

According to the Meteorological Department, in the five major cities of the state, the temperature recorded was 30.6 degrees in Bhopal, 30 degrees in Indore, 30.7 degrees in Gwalior, 30.2 degrees in Ujjain and 31 degrees Celsius in Jabalpur.

Due to rain, a slight decrease in day temperature was recorded in many cities. The day temperature in Pachmarhi came down to 24.4 degrees. 32.4 degrees were recorded in Sheopur, 32.2 degrees in Narmadapuram, 32.0 degrees in Talun, 31.9 degrees in Bhairunda and 31.3 degrees Celsius in Guna.

On Monday, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 18.0 degrees Celsius in Pachmarhi, while the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius in Sheopur.

Monsoon Meter of Madhya Pradesh

Monsoon is in full swing these days in Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, there is light rain in some parts of the state and torrential rain in some parts. So far, an average of 28.4 inches of rain has fallen in the state in this monsoon season.

The normal rainfall in MP was estimated to be 19 inches, which means more than 9.4 inches of rain has fallen. In districts like Gwalior, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Morena, Sheopur, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari, the quota of normal rainfall has been fulfilled, while in many districts more than 80 percent of the rainfall has occurred.

On Monday, 130 mm of rain was recorded in Tyonthar, Singrauli 75.8 mm, Sarai 62.2 mm, Jawa 56 mm, Sheopur 48.6 mm and Rampur Baghelan 44.2 mm of rain was recorded in MP.

Weather forecast in Madhya Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, cyclonic circulation and trough are active in various parts of Madhya Pradesh, due to which the weather may change further in the coming days. The department has alerted people and asked them not to go out during the rain and be especially cautious in those areas where there is a possibility of water accumulation. Flood situation may arise in the areas around Gwalior, Morena and Bhind.

Yellow alert for heavy rain here

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain for Gwalior, Bhind and Morena districts. In these districts, up to 4.5 inches of water may fall during the next 24 hours. At the same time, there is an alert of thunderstorms and light rain in other districts of the state. Along with this, strong winds can also blow in these areas, which can increase the rain further. There is a possibility of light rain in other districts of the state, which may bring some coolness in the weather.
