Karun Nair, Sai Sudarshan – 3/10

Both Karun Nair and Sai Sudarshan had a chance to confirm their place in the team, but they could not leave any significant impression. Although both of them scored one half-century each during the series, they were not able to play long innings. Given the age of Sudarshan, he can get opportunities further, but after 8 years, Karun Nair’s leaf, who returns to the Test team, may be cut off. It may be the last Test series of his career.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul – 7/10

The basis of any batting performance on the England tour is his openers. The pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul impressed this series. Jaiswal continued to impress with his impeccable strokes and patience and scored another century on foreign soil. Rahul played the role of senior partner well, used the new ball firmly when needed and showed a glimpse of the player who had ever scored a century in Lord’s.

Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant – 8.5/10

Everyone was afraid of how the 25-year-old young player would be able to handle the captaincy and the responsibility of number-4 together, but Gill gave a befitting reply to his critics in both departments. He scored more than 700 runs in the series, headed with maturity and often handled the innings under pressure circumstances. His ability to play large innings has now become an identity, although there is still scope for improvement in their return on hard pitches. He could not score a big score in both the matches in London.

What would you say about Rishabh Pant? Under the pressure of poor performance in Australia and then IPL, Pant broke his rhythm and scored important runs with the bat. Despite being injured and injured, he refused to give up, even batted despite fracture in the foot of the foot in the Manchester Test match.

Ravindra Jadeja – 7.5/10

Ravindra Jadeja has shut down a century and 5 half -centuries against England. In this series, he played the role of a full batsman, not an all -rounder. He was among the select players who crossed the 500 -run mark in the series. The Indian lower middle order looked quite strong on the basis of his performance.

Dhruv Jurael, Washington Beautiful – 6/10

Jurael did not get much time for preparation, after Pant’s injury, he took wickets in just two Tests. Due to the slope in Lord’s, he definitely faced some problem, but soon he got into the condition of England. In the last Test, he could not show amazing with the bat, but he impressed everyone with the wicket keeping.

Washington Sundar- 7/10

Sundar, brought to strengthen batting, played her role well, especially in the Manchester Test. His innings helped India to remain in the match. His spell also raised the question at Lord’s whether he should have been used more in bowling. But the more opportunities you got, Sundar performed more well.

Mohammad Siraj – 9/10

Mohammad Siraj was the hero of this series. In this series, he gave not only all 5 Test matches, but also 100 percent at all times. He managed to take the highest overs in the series, the highest number of balls, as well as taking 23 wickets. His performance will be remembered the most through his last day’s spell at the Oval. He could not always perform continuously, but his aggression, enthusiasm and confidence changed everything. Even in the absence of Bumrah on important occasions, Siraj took the front and proved that he is now one of the top fast bowlers in the world.

Jaspreet Bumrah, famous Krishna – 5/10

Jasprit Bumrah came as the leader of the Indian bowling unit in this series, but his performance faded a lot according to his standard. Due to the workload management, he played only 5 matches of the series, but during this time he took 14 wickets.

At the same time, Krishna showed that he could withstand pressure, especially during his return to the final Test. Although there was a lack of continuity in them, the speed and bounce they created indicate their ability, which if enhanced, can prove to be good for India.

Akash Deep – 6/10

Akashdeep impressed several occasions during the series, but his bowling still needs to be improved. Apart from bowling, Akash Deep impressed his strong half -century in the last Test. They have the ability to keep one end tied, but India will need to develop them as another aggressive bowler so that they can stay in the team for a long time.
