During an interview with HindiRush Shruti said that during the shoot of Rajneeti she had to do some intimate scenes with Arjun Rampal. The actress said I did a bold scene in Rajneeti. This is a character that I had never thought of. She added The role was offered to me by the films associate director Alankrita Shrivastava. Prakash Jha wanted an actress for this role who does not look exactly like the character demands. When Alankrita Shrivastava offered me the role I said yes. She told me that she thought I could do this role. I gave a bold scene in the film. Following the films success Shruti said that everyone looked at her with ‘wow’ and she received massive appreciation.
