Shocking news has emerged involving a famous actress. South Indian actress Shweta Menon who has worked with Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn in Bollywood has been accused of acting in pornographic films and advertisements for financial gain. The case has come to light from the Ernakulam Central Police Station in Kochi where a case has been registered against her. According to the Malayalam news website Mathrubhumi a public activist named Martin Menachery filed a complaint against Menon following which the Ernakulam CJM Court directed the local police to take action. A case has now been registered under the Prevention of Obscenity Act and the Information Technology (IT) Act. FIR Against Shweta Menon The police have now registered an FIR against Shweta Menon who is accused of acting in pornographic films. Shweta has worked not only in South Indian cinema but also in Hindi films. She has appeared in Malayalam films such as Rathinirvedham and Salt N Pepper and has also acted in Bollywood films like Salman Khans Bandhan and Asoka. According to the police Shweta Menon has allegedly acted in vulgar films and advertisements for financial gain. The complaint also mentions Shweta Menons appearance in a condom advertisement in addition to her alleged involvement in obscene content. Who is Shweta Menon? Born on April 23 1974 Shweta Menon is a well-known name in the film industry. She began her career as a model and later gained fame as a television anchor and actress. She won the Miss India Asia Pacific title in 1994. Apart from Malayalam cinema she has worked in Hindi Tamil and Telugu films. Shweta has received two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Actress as well as two South Filmfare Awards. She participated in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1. Menon was also a part of cult classic 1997 film Ishq where she received notable attention as the dancer for the song Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai featuring Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn. Then Menon worked in Salman Khans Bandhan and in films of many big stars including Ajay Devgan. She has worked in about 30 Hindi films.
